Can I smoke at events?

The Glass House is a non-smoking facility. You are welcome to smoke outside the building on the sidewalk or in the garden area, please be respectful and dispose of your butts in the provided receptacles.

Can I drink at events?

The Ellington has a bar for all shows featuring a selection of beer, wine, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages. We accept both cash and credit cards.

Is food available at events?

At this time, food is not available at our events. We are looking into offering food in the near future.

Is there assigned seating?

The Ellington is general admission, with all seating done on a first come, first served basis. Reserved seats are not available. Occasionally a table will be reserved for show sponsors; however, we try to keep these as limited as possible.

Is there an age limit?

All Ellington shows are 21+ unless otherwise noted.

Is there a dress code?

There is no official dress code. Just be sure to wear shirts and shoes. One of the nice things about the Ellington is that you will be appropriately dressed whether you dress up or dress down.

Where do I park?

There is parking along both sides of Jefferson St, as well as ample parking in several lots along Commerce St. You can access the Glass House from Commerce St via the staircase on the Bluff Walk between 10th and 11th streets.

Are there any restaurants close to the events?

After the show if you still have the late night munchies, there are multiple restaurants located in downtown Lynchburg.

Is there any lodging close to the events?

We are partnered with The Holiday Inn Select, it is within walking distance at 601 Main Street; don't forget to tell them we sent you.

How can my favorite band get booked at the events?
